So todays the day i made the jump over to Ubuntu. Yeah thats right, i formated my hard drive and installed a whole new OS. i was a bit worried at first. I mean come on, for a Windows fanboy like me to switch to a whole new OS is like quiting crack. Hey, at least im not going out and buying a Mac or any other Apple related product for that matter.
The OS is visually stunning. The sexy looks of Vista and the functionality of XP. Its very stable and requires little. Theres a lot more support out there for it than i thought, which fills me with confidence. Now for those of you reading you might be asking "what do i care?" Well i highly suggest you try this out for yourself. You can order a CD for ABSOLUTLEY FREE or download the cd image and burn it yourself here http://www.ubuntu.com/. Now dont worry, you dont have to format anything. Whats cool is that this is a LIVE cd. Which means you can run Ubuntu, try it, mess around, all from the comfort of your cd/dvd drive. All you have to do is pop it in and boot to the cd. Go do it. Its FREE and you have nothing to lose
Gonna test this out, I was wondering if I could fit it on a flash drive instead of a CD? Would be alot more portable
