Chromed Out.

Sorry for the lack of updates, just picked up Mercs 2 and been having fun with that. Anyways, it looks like Google is stepping up to the plate and developing their very own browser. It's kinda funny cause Google is the current king in interweb apps and software, but they never really tapped into the web browser market. It's currently called "Google Chrome" which just screams dopeness.

Here are several of the dope features that will be available in the first beta version.

-It has a tab centric interface
-It uses sandboxing to prevent malware
-It includes an anti-phishing features
-It uses a new JavaScript implementation to provide optimun web performance
-It includes the Google Gears platform to enable online apps to provide offline capabilities

It has dropped, here is the link. http://www.google.com/chrome
*8/3/2008 Update - There is a big flaw with Chrome right now that allows sites to drive-by download malicious software onto your computer with this current version of Chrome. I personally can't recommend anyone downloading this until the big G patches this security flaw, they should fix this relatively soon since it is an old flaw with the webkit version they used to make the browser. If you do use Chrome, use it with caution!!
